![]() ![]() I assume doing the 24mb software update will just reinstall the latest FaceBook.I did the same on my Passport SE that I bought from shop BlackBerry except I used BlackBerry link to restore a previous saved back up before the update of 10.3.3 and it works for me. On the Passport that I used this method on, a ShopBlackBerry that got the 10.3.3 update OTA, when I check for software updates, I get a 24mb update, which coincidentally is the same size as the FaceBook update available in BlackBerry world. Going directly to the account settings will not show your FaceBook account settings, 10.3.3 has taken it out of the list. It will then ask you to log in again and bring you to the FaceBook account page in settings where you can put in your password. Give the phone a few minutes to stabilize and then open the FaceBook App. The next step was to restore the Device settings backup using Sachesi.Īfter the restore, the phone will automatically reboot and after booted, you will get warnings to enter your FaceBook, email, twitter and etc account passwords again. I did not open the FaceBook app after installing it. I then connected to Sachesi, installed the facebook-10.7.31.9-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar. On the Passport that was upgraded to 10.3.3, I deleted the new FaceBook app and rebooted. This Passport has 10.3.3 on it, but I suppose if you had a 10.3.2 settings backup, it would probably work for the next step. Using Sachesi, I backed up just the Device setting on the Passport that I got FaceBook working on. I just figured out how to get the old facebook app running on devices that have already done the upgrade. ![]()
